they shy, baby-pink dream
the shy, baby-pink dream
looked up at me and asked if
I would be so kind? as to let
him breathe my breath
the dream grew hard and red
and plump until he fell
and burst and spread
through the moss at
the bottom of my heart
and now he lives in me
and in every smile I give
and in every hall I walk
and in all my sparkling spit
so listen when I speak
because I have a dream
and I want to send his children
to the center of the earth.
