The Senses of the Seasons
The sound of bliss flows through the warm days of summer,
the sound of bliss fades away as fall comes around.
Soon bliss starts to turn into a pressure,
that pressure pushes down on you.
That pressure is no longer the bliss of the summer,
It's the weight of fall.
The weight is hard to hold,
The weight makes you want to give up,
But you know you need to keeping going
A taste fills your mouth,
A taste you can’t get off your tongue.
That’s that bitterness of the winter.
Spring comes around,
Spring looks like yellow.
It’s warm and comforting,
Like a hug from the sun
that color of spring.
