Why must the branches swing so low these days?
I can reach up and grab them now
Why do they swing so low?
maybe it's a matter of how
Roots deep in the soil
stretching to my core
They haven't seen the sun for a while
perhaps they yearn for more
Where did all the trees go?
Why have they gone away?
The orchard once so full
is rotting
try not to decay
