Another Victory
The track is safe.
However, anything can go wrong.
Really, I am safer than ever .
Especially behind the restraints and harnesses
Even wearing a helmet, just to be sure.
Chills run down my back before my big race.
Only I can end up this nervous.
Keeping myself in check.
Every move counts.
Better get to it!
On my way to the staging lanes
to try my best to win the last round.
To come home with the trophy.
Losing isn't an option.
Every move counts.
Successfully, I took home the win.
I return to the pits, and I crack open a cold one.
A refreshing beverage.
I raise a toast.
The bottle represents my victory.
Cheers to the team.
One more win under our belts.
We make our way to the winners circle.
A parade of people awaits, cheering and clapping.
All the smiles and emotions flood like a tsunami.
I jump up in excitement and I give my dad a huge hug because
without him, I wouldn't be where I am today.
