Cascade of Love
My love, my world
Gone in a whirl
A hole in my heart
I’ll never love again
We were decades deep
In our cascade of love
Now love’s my demise
The reason I’ll fall
Can’t breathe without them
So I won’t breathe at all

This poem stems from my experience in my past relationship. Even though it needed to end, it doesn't make it any easier. The feeling of something or someone you love being "ripped away" in a sense is a painful feeling and it feels like there is a hole left in your heart.
