Loneliness MAG
Lonelinessis a mud Brown train wreck
That crushes the sheet metal of my heart
Andleaves lasting scars on my body.
We sit in my car
The silence; afuneral.
I stare into his emerald eyes,
Then a cold chill rushes through mybody.
Did a corpse hug me?
He no longer has the same look in hiseyes.
The once-warm glow now a freezing glacier.
I can feel his frustrationas he scans the radio for the right song.
Mass chaos in my head,
Whitewater rapids of my emotions.
We both stare out my smudgedwindows;
Mannequins.
The sky is dark
The wind blows flipping the leavesupside down.
"We are just friends" sours in my mind,
Pecking atme like a hawk on a dead rabbit along the road.
He is the hawk ...Free.
