Moments to Remember
I didn't regret it,
one of the best nights,
The best of my entire life
Every word said,
Even when it hurts,
I still remember, but I didn't regret it
That night, we stopped and got dinner,
Mother was so mad when I got home,
but in that moment I felt glad to be there,
No regret, not even for one second
Do you still remember?
I forgot my coat that night
You were where you were supposed to be
In the car, at the corner
I climbed inside, like I did a million times before
It was cold, dark,
It was the same
Everything in that moment eise to exist
There was just us in our world
And it was the best night of my entire life
But now it's gone

This was a found Poetry that I did for a class, and I enjoyed it a lot, I used a book titled
It’s Not Summer Without You by Jenny Han, and I used pages 105 and 114. A found poetry is where you take words from the book move it around and make your own take on it and that's what I did.
