Aware and Awake
My life is so many little walks
It is the moments trapped in the doorway
It is on the brink of shadow
Perhaps when dream meets reality
That I remember the clearest
I’m supposed to be
On this big beautiful journey
I’m crawling forward
Like a child not ready to walk
I remember the beginnings
For there is never an end
I remember the quiet ones
Because the loud is deaf to my ears
I’ll remember you by the roadside
It’s cold, and the night is cruel
I’ll take you in and set you back
And you’ll be up and away
In life you have to make yourself
Because I was born to create
If there isn’t this then I just might have that
Or perhaps just pass away in time
Thank You
