Our Love Died
I was sitting with the crowd, who were screaming your name
Any recognition I may retain
Was lost when the final score was made
'Touch down' was yelled from here to China and back
Every one was happy, but you payed me no heed
And all trace of me did clearly recede
Two months later when I've gotten over you, at last
I saw you come my way as I turned to head to class
'I need you back' you said as I looked at your impassive, expressionless, face
'I never wanna see you again' I replied
And that is the tale of how our love died
