Life has a way of changing
It could take you up
It could take you down
Eventually all around

My sins are a thing of the past
But my dreams are a thing of the future
So don't look back
'Cause the past doesn't last
That's the smartest task

I'm waiting
'Cause life is changing
I'm slaving for the moment
We've all been waiting for
Life is changing

I'm getting older
The days are getting shorter
'Cause the future's getting closer
Until it's gone
