Angel
My angel,
I’ve strung out and cut you,
Pierced in the dark,
Completely lost,
Your stained wings I have tainted
Will for me always remain
in my mind the picture of good,
blackened by my lies
you are my angel still,
looking in me,
still seeing hope,
still seeing love,
still the part of me I wont lose,
you belong in gold my friend,
my love,
you belong in the clouds,
where no harm will come to you,
here on earth I seem to have destroyed it,
what for so long
I never thought could be mine,
Your words,
Your smile,
They come out
Of my blank mind
But they are from far above,
From the place I still cherish,
The one that
Will never stop believing in two
Being one
Because,
My beloved,
No one could ever be me
The way you are,
No matter what my angel,
You are who will be
My protection from
That outside world
Of cold and darkness,
You have been me,
And I have been you,
My angel.
