Little
They said “no, you are little”
I said, “no, I am big”
I remember skin splitting when I conquered them all.
I think my memories into stories to
Displace me from the world, to make me
Into a literary giant
I want to be bigger than life, I said from the cradle
I said from the school, from the car
I said, from the office.
There is a difference between being short and being little
Which one am I? Or neither.
They said “no, you are little.”
I said, “no, I am big because you think me little.”
Little did what big never could.
