Music flowing
through my headphones
through my veins
echoes in my soul
electrifies
defies reasons why
It pumps me up
it calms me down
it keeps me sane
it soothes my brain
A universal language
it connects all our hearts
it makes us all feel closer
even miles apart
there is a song
for every mood
every situation
makes us feel less alone
makes us analyze our feelings
Music is my life
my love
my joy
my drug
Hard to explain
the way it echoes in my brain
