The life we had of ease,

How true

And numerous fights that were so often

No value behind them, no point intended

Short we were in height and thought

But tall we were in conceit and naught

The life we had a long time ago

Fads there were

And fads we followed

But dumb they were and us real shallow

Thinking now as I look back

To never do again such foolish things

Now I've grown, my decisions of true importance

Soul so pure at 15 years old, said I

So smart I am

At this age, my peak

But then I became an old woman

I'm so old at 87

As I face my death bed I know,
