something missing
It feels like an eternity
since we last sat and talked
the roads now look so empty
where I know we have walked
Those trees once looked enchanting
now they rustle with regret
there memory is stained with tears
they mark where we first met
The sky once shown so brightly
but it won't shine again
on any of those places
that you and I have been.
At home I'm still reminded
of the past that we now share
It hurts me when I'm crying
to know you breath this air
