let us
(you and me)
play 'first humans'
(I'll be Eve)
or we can be born
from the sweet, chunky earth
but oh let's
you and me
pretend we are first
they teach us in school
about what we were given
but it's time to run down
to the glittering garden
booklearning isn't
enough to find truth
I feed you the(no fear)
apple of my youth.
