The Light Ahead MAG
My mind is a pit of fury
Of rivers running red,
My feelings lost beyond the bend
In the endless walls in my head.
I call: but no one answers
Just hollow, empty space.
My cry is echoed back inside
Within the protective case.
The roads seem long to walk
The days seem hard to live,
My tears have run till none will flow
I have none left to give.
Yet, inside the murky darkness
My familiar friend and foe,
I see the whitened light ahead
Of a rosebud beginning to grow.
