Dead of night
sun's burned down
need some light
can't see the ground
pupils grow
eyes adjust
you must know
i can not trust
i can not see
its as if I'm blind
what could it be?
i use my mind...
eyes glued shut
can't make a sound
pain in my gut
a throbbing pound
left for dead
no one in sight
i awake in my bed
the sun is so bright
