They played with a lot of heart
But couldn’t win on most Sundays.
Sean Payton came to town
He brought with him a cool Brees
Now no one can bring them down
All the fans they now can please.
12-0 is the record now
Perfection is the goal
These boys should take a bow
They gave a city back its soul.
