the hardest part is healing

I'm trying to to let you in,
I'm wasting my time.
You're just like your best friend;
A million a dime.
Everything you've told me
Is probably just a lie.
And despite what you may think,
I won't let it go by..
I thought you were different;
Actually cared about my feelings.
Well now, I've learned
That the hardest part is healing.
And through out this whole ordeal
I hope that you will see
That no matter what happens,
Or however stupid I may be-
I really want us together.
Just you and me...
