The Snake and The Dove
When you turn to love,
God is smiling up above,
Because He knows that you have found
A very special dove.
But when you turn to hate,
God, His head does shake,
Because He knows you have fallen
For the trickery of a snake.
Hate will kill your love,
Just as a snake will kill a dove.
The advice you have been told,
Is worth a trunk of gold.
But no matter what you do,
Know that God is always with you.
