The trees of IHS swayed back and forth
As one of the lunch ladies walked outside.
The student walked towards her
As he waved to her goodbye.

The lunch lady pondered for a bit,
Then she lit a cigarette and said,
“Why did that boy wave goodbye?”
With curiosity she walked back inside.

The lunch lady was wondering why
Oh why did that boy wave goodbye,
Then she realized as she was walking in
She saw a young lady behind her.

The lady had curls and smiled
As the lunch lady smiled inside at the site.
What a beautiful day and beautiful kids
Laughter filling the air as it was a great day outside.
