tears,cries, and lies
See my tears, hear my cries
Go ahead and tell me more lies
We spent many nights together
And you kept repeating this is forever
The funny thing is I actually fell for it
Stupid me, why did I listen to that?
Phone calls were shorter, excuses came rolling in
And dates were getting broken again and again
See my tears, hear my cries
Go ahead and tell me more lies
I knew it wasn’t right so when I asked what’s going on
All I got was “I’m just busy, nothing is wrong”
And once again I believed you, another dumb choice I made
Because not long after I find out you made a trade
You went from me “the one you loved” to her
Once I heard I told her, but she was in denial, so unsure
When I confront you about everything I found out
All you can say is you really do love me without a doubt
See my tears, hear my cries
Go ahead and tell me more lies
But you’re still with her, you always were
And it hurts to know you were so immature
Somehow you still managed to get me hooked
Before I could open my eyes and take a good look
So now I’m picking up the pieces to my broken heart
After that I learned to never trust anything from the start
See my tears, hear my cries
Go ahead and tell me more lies
