Desire's Reign
Desire, it’s immense reign
A haunting, everlasting strife
Every fight causes me more pain
Sin encrypted as a harmonious sound of life
A confusing, never-ending burden
The phoenix within burns, paralyzing all
I withdraw, like all kinds of men
We know the consequences that lead to the fall
Do you not see how we are fools?
Desire plays us, pleases itself with our situation
We play the game, we allow Desire to make us tools
It is a cruel trick. This is the realization
The tempting entertainment calls us, we allow
Only to destroy us, the torture comes later
It is an exchange, pleasure and fun, we follow
The apple closes our fate, and Desire proves greater
