The mass of citizens fight
With words and signs of peace
Screams litter the air, “Stop the war!”
As people attempt to save their country, their men
Looking to each other, hope in their eyes
Knowing freedom; peace comes with a price
The troop of men fight
With guns and forceful blows
Screams fill the air “Man down!”
As soldiers attempt to save their lives, their friends
Looking for the enemy, commands running through their minds
Knowing freedom; fighting for what is right is the price
