Grass and thoughts

Sitting here in the grass.
Wanting to ask,
Questions about thoughts,
Running around in your mind.
All questions and thoughts are trying to flee.
Escape flashes in your head.
Go get out to a field and shout all of them out!
But you don’t
And probably won’t.
Why, other people may ask
Because you’re scared,
Of your thoughts being aired.
So instead you write,
About things you might think,
In long lasting emerald ink.
