Dandelion yellow
The box, sapphire, with bits of daisy peddle white, and cherry red,
Open the rectangle.
There is no cherry in sight.
Ripping white paper all you see is bright dandelion yellow.
The color of light, sun, happy faces, M&Ms,and my wellies.
See dandelion, and you might come close to tears.
Tears of bright yellow acrylic paint.
As drops run down your face,
They turn clear.
Suddenly rain is pouring down.
Walking down the street listening to the beat,
Of feet walking.
The feelings of safety, relaxation,
Wonder and peace flow through my body and soul.
