Rapunzel
Once a girl hid behind a door,
put there by her father, solemn
surrounded by so many columns.
She sat alone with nothing but floor.
Because her father thought her poor
he tried to rid this wretched problem
for no one is his kingdom would keep calm.
And so he saw his problem no more.
She cried for days no hope for escape.
Hoping to hear the trotting footsteps
of her far away prince charming.
And so the walls she began to scrape.
No hope, she made her hair into rep,
set herself free, so very alarming.
