yellow spotted lizards
The yellow spotted lizard lives deep in the sand,
he hides from the sun so he doesn’t get a tan.
He can taste the dust on his tong,
as he jumps and bites his prey’s lung.
You can hear them laugh and sneer,
as danger comes near.
You can smell their breath,
as dangerous as death.
You can feel the pain,
as their poison makes a stain.
