nightmare
I’m trapped inside my head a prisoner to my own fear
Everything that has ever haunted me came back here
I scream for help but hear no sound
I am trapped and need help won’t someone let me out
There is no reply no answer
The only thing in the distance is the rain
The touch of it on my skin turns my veins ice cold
I am hidden from the world a prisoner to my own thoughts
I lay down to feel an agonizing pain
I am drowning in my own blood
No longer in my nightmare
