Curse of the Unbreakable
Be bound by blood – a wretched curse,
This fear that free I’ll never be
From you, from you within my face!
I see within my eyes your hate–
And how I’ll scratch away my fate,
And pray that you will bleed away,
I’ll blind my eyes and never see
Again the mocking mirror’s spell.
And when I’m dying – sick, alone –
When you no longer recognize
Your own sick features in my face–
Why then I’ll know I’ve truly won.
What horror to be bound by blood,
By a diseased, eternal bond–
To you – forever – ‘til I die,
For only then from you I’m free.
