Everything
I lost my heart and now I know
That everything’s not as white as snow
That everything’s not as beautiful a gold
Everything grows from new to old
That everyone lies and people cheat
In every kitchen there will be heat
That everyone says they are who they’re not
And every heart somehow gets caught
I lost my heart and now I know
That everything in life doesn’t just go
Everything dies and everything’s born
But everything’s harder in the mist of the storm
That to everything you don’t have to answer yes
That everything always needs a second guess
That everything’s just how it’s supposed to be
That everything will be okay trust me you’ll see
