On A Warm 4th of July

On a warm fourth of July,
the kids laugh and play.
On a little girls birthday,
the party goers sing.
On a porch swing,
they dye their tounges with popsicles.
On a white laundry sheet hung in the yard,
a classic movie projects.
On a warm blanket,
We lay down comfy.
On a cool grassy hill,
we "oohh" and "ahh".
On a warm fourth of July,
we watch the fireworks.
On a dark backdrop sky,
light up the night.
On a warm fourth of July.
