When You
When you hold me,
I feel the world open up
And the summer rain beat down on my skin.
I don’t have any questions about where I’m going in life
Because I know you’re my future.
When your fingers grasp mine,
I let you pull me through the currents.
Our breath pulled from us in the hurricane
You save me.
When you kiss me,
I see the faraway water filled forests of the Amazon.
I see life full of things amazing
When you look in my eyes,
I know you can see every hidden truth.
When you say “I Love You” I melt into you.
