Vacation
Splashing water upon the dock,
Time flys by on the clock.
Sunburns, late nights, and lots of fast food,
Sleeping in and pancakes, keep the good mood.
Late-night icecream runs, junk food galore,
The end of every vacation, leaves you wanting more.
Shopping sprees and fattening snacks,
While the boys stay home to win the big catch.
Tubing and swimming are fun in the lake,
Trying to hold on while in the big wake.
Friends and family make the vacation more fun,
Even when our tolerence level is almost to none.
And at the end we're thankful we can say,
'That was a lot of fun! Let's do it again someday!'
