ABC Fear
August 29, 2010
Apprehension, mounting fear
Because of what I am not sure
Catastrophic, life changing event
Determined days ago and
Ever present in my thoughts since then
Frivolous worries
Great enough to disrupt my day
Happening too soon
Impulse is to run
Just want to skip it altogether
Knowing makes it worse, though I hate unexpected surprises
Lurking only an hour ahead
Much too close, much to close and
Next thing I know it’s done
Over
Panic subsides only to flare again tomorrow

I really like it, and I thought it was a neat idea to use the ABC idea. :) The only suggestion I'd have is to make it go all the way through the alphabet.
