and we ran
me and my friend we ran far away.
far from the village for more time to play.
she hopped on the tiger,
i rode on the lynx,
and they ran,
ran to places no brain ever thinks.
we jumped off of rocks into cool calming waves,
and we swam to tomorrows and left our todays.
our feet in the sand,
skin in the sun,
when we grew bored of walking. . . well of coarse we would run!
run back to the village,
meet the moon with the man,
and dream of the places,
the places we ran.
