I am the One
I am the one
That so called loser
Book and pen always in hand
Call me strange and odd if you may
I choose not to run with the crowd
I am the one
Standing on the sidelines
Never chosen for that shot at victory
Laughed at my try and fail
I have yet to call the game over
I am the one
Without that picture perfect figure
Without a blinding smile
Doesn't have flawless skin
Still I stand with confidence
I know I am beautiful
I am the one
The one who cries
Who runs in tough times
My attention sometimes on just the negative
Pulling myself under
I know that I am the one
The one with the choice
Choice to make a difference
Chance to make things change
Who are you?
Will you be the one?
