Texas Devil
Water dripping
I lie
On the cold
Cement floor
Small feet scampering
In the walls
Boots clicking
Outside of this retched cell
Two men mumbling
Echoes through out
This pit of hell
I put on my rings
Go for one last walk
They would chant
Devil takes an other
As I walked the line
One that many men have walked
I open the door
To a cold
Dark room
All that was there was a chair
I sat down to take a rest
Looked into the merrier
As they lowered
A black vale
On my life
