We Shall Inquire to Learn What is not Known
Villanelle: We Shall inquire to Learn What is not Known
We shall inquire to learn what is not known.
From garden to the wild like Adam and Eve
we cannot help but wonder what’s not shown.
We search the skies to see if we are alone
or just to find more data to retrieve
We shall inquire to learn what is not known.
Grasp can make life gay like a song in tune,
it can also shatter ideas and make you grieve
but we can’t help but wonder what’s not shown.
We will be able to make a human clone.
Even though it is against what many believe,
we shall inquire to learn what is not known
With our ideas, to death we can even postpone
for many the close threat of death we relieve.
We cannot help but wonder what’s not shown.
Through life itself we learn what will be known,
for good or bad we still try to perceive.
We shall inquire to learn what is not known
and we can’t help but wonder what’s not shown
