I Am From
I am from
the music I make
by simply moving my hands
and creating a melody
that carries me away
from the world I live in
full of hate, depression, rejection, and tears
I am from
the memories I find
of life and death
stored inside my brain
that slowly fade away
into a corner of mind
that I am blind to see
I am from
the flow of poetry
spilling out words,
thoughts,
feelings
onto one piece of paper
coming rapidly
like a storm at sea
I am from
love and hate
joy and depression
remembering and forgetting
hoping to find
who I am
who is me
