Unheard.

Wingless Bird,
Sad and lonely,
It's cries remain unheard.
Alike in many ways,
I am the dog,
And you are the stray.
Lost and alone,
We've found our way home,
to each other.
Our tears collide
Since we now know everything,
Is finally right.
I suppose I should say,
Thank you anyway,
For all that you've done,
Loneliness is now gone.
Broken birds,
Fixed birds,
Make me smile with soundless words.
Lovely bird,
Only I hear the songs unheard.
