Lonely Soldier

Lonely soldier, look about
At the destruction all around
Fellow men fallen to the ground
But these men are fallen, proud
For the love of their country was strong
Send them home to heaven where they belong
Now wrapped in our colors are the many
That have all shown courage and bravery
Soldier, you are not alone
For your fellow men look down on you
And see the hero you’ve become
But you recognize the lost, as heroes you’ve come to know
