The Monster
Sitting in darkness, waiting. waiting. waiting. Waiting for the thing they call the monster to come.
Sitting. sitting. sitting. Sitting alone.
They say the monster can destroy you.
Calling. calling. calling. Calling the thing they call the monster.
They say one dose will kill you, kill you on the inside that is.
Felling. feeling. feeling. Feeling the pain being injected in my body.
They say the pain of the monster will tare you apart.
Falling. falling. falling. Falling, into it's grasp.
They say the grasp of the monster will clamp to you like a letch and never let go.
Drowning. drowning. drowning. Drowning in the sorrow that floods with in you.
The sorrow of the monster will pull you down faster than a sun set.
Reaching. reaching. reaching. Reaching out for someone, anyone.
I made the mistake of playing with the monster.
Paying. paying. paying. Paying the price for my stupid choice.
Screaming. screaming. screaming. Screaming out but all they hear is slience, for I no longer have a voice.
