Told Me a Thousand Times...
Told me a thousand times
that you'll never go,
always with the tides'
ebb and flow.
What gave me life
has caused me to die.
On feathered angel wings,
up to you I'll fly.
A sea of darkness
reflected in our eyes.
Together, we stood
looking up at night skies.
Since every moon
needs darkness to survive,
Think of you, knowing
you keep me alive.
Told me a thousand times
that they'll always stay.
Both promises were broken,
on similar days.
Castles fall and castles rise,
Patterns keep with those who die.
On feathered angel wings,
I'll go up to the sky.
