Memories on a Window
The sun sets, the hills rising to greet it
The moon rises, the sky turns to greet it
And here I sit on my window pane, waiting for this time to pass.
For the memories to fade.
Remembering the fear, the triumph
the happiness the madness.
The good the bad and everything in between.
But still I sit here on my pane and wait for time to pass.
For the memories to fade.
Thinking of the good, the ugly
The wanted, the needed.
The broken and the scenery.
Yet I sat on my little pane and waited for the time to pass.
For the memories to fade.
The sun sets, the hills rising to greet it
The moon rises, the sky turns to greet it
And here I sit on my window pane, waiting for this time to pass.
