THE EYES OF A CHILD
If everyone had the innocence of a child
The world would be a much better place
No racism, prejudice, or discrimination
Never judging or labeling
Just accepting
Always ready to learn, to understand
Full of knowledge about right and wrong
Knowledge so simple, yet so complex
Wisdom far beyond their years
And far beyond our own comprehension
They trust completely, never doubting
They love deeply, never hating
They forgive quickly, never holding a grudge
They hold tight to what they want, never letting go
They stand up for what they believe, never letting anyone change their mind
So just think of how life would be
If we lived through the eyes of a child
