Beautiful Tree MAG
Why couldn’t she tell,
why couldn’t she see,
how could she sit there
and stare right through me,
I wanted to tell her,
I wish she’d understand
That my loving heart
lay right in her hand.
As I look upon her beauty
searching for a sign,
a glimpse, a glance,
her beautiful eyes, met mine
a sweet, sweet smile
glides slowly upon her face
Her eyes turn slowly back
to their original place
My heart is racing
Like never before
Her beauty is everything
She’s all I need, nothing more.
I remember a time
when she couldn’t see
when I stared at her
And she stared right past me.
Now, we stared right past me.
Now we stare at the stars
My heart’s where you lay
I’d do it all again
to plant the seed that day
the seed that turned,
turned into this beautiful tree.
that under the stars
Stares, right at me.
