As I wave good bye to the one I love…
soft tears rolling down my face.
I say farewell, without a choice…
as they lay him down in lace
As I wave good bye to the one I love…
happy memories burst in my head.
I hope one day I can tell him “I love you” still…
as my checks turn a shade of red.
As I wave good bye to the one I love…
I weep for days and days.
As I look back on the places we have been
I wouldn’t have done it any other way.
As I wave good bye to the one I love…
I kiss him on the cheek.
I sit beside his cold still body
wondering how I last a week.
As I wave good bye to the one I love…My love for him ending never
I’ll look at him and smile again
knowing that he would want me too forever.
