Daycare Day
I woke up to tired faces,
And watched Blue’s Clues cases.
When breakfast is done,
Us kids get hyper and have fun.
We play games of Frogger,
And there’s tons of laughter.
When we’ve finished our coloring pages,
It’s nap time for all ages.
To pick a movie is a big decision,
In the end, “The Land Before Time” is on the television.
When we hear the bell chime,
We all know it’s lunch time.
We’ve played so much; it’s time for a treat,
We finally get something sweet!
When it’s time to go,
We all cry “NO!”
When we kids want to stay,
We know we had fun on Daycare Day!
